Any AFoD (Adult fan of Disney) would genuinely love this book. It’s a loose, modern day adaptation of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and it’s not trying to be subtle about it. It’s cute and romantic and while it has its fair share of conflict, it’s definitely a feel-good or rainy day type read. Not my typical cup of tea, but I’m glad I tried it and it was all in all pleasant.

Some cute floof from an author I enjoy, but if you're going for a fairytale retelling of Beauty & the Beast, I much preferred Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston. I didn't buy into the beast falling in love in this version, and if I had to hear one more time that she was not as special as the models he usually dated? But there were more enjoyable moments too, like his backstory, and her best friend, that made it worth the read.
