3 stars for my mixed reaction to the stories—such is to be expected from a collection of short stories from multiple authors.

My favorites:
Nightmare at 20,000 Feet (Richard Matheson)
Lucifer! (EC Tubb)
You Are Released (Joe Hill)
The Flying Machine (Ray Bradbury)
They Shall Not Grow Old (Roald Dahl)

Zombies on a Plane (Bev Vincent) is also good fun but like…I wanted what the title promised!

This series of short stories about flying is great for airports and while flying so long as you aren’t afraid of flying. It’s sure to get you plenty of looks while reading.
I enjoyed most of the stories but since they are about 15 pages or less each, they are all pretty quick for those airport waits and flights.

Some of the stories I’d already read before so I skipped those. Of the ones I haven’t heard of I enjoyed Cargo, You Are Released, & The Turbulence Expert. Didn’t care for The 5th Category or Warbirds
