Really good plot but I found the main character, Jazz, a bit poorly written - witty but in a snarky, annoying way. She does get a bit better as the book progresses though, so I would recommend the read anyway.

I read this in a few hours. It was interesting and technically/scientifically imaginative, enough to give the reader the impression that it really “could” be real. So that made it fun. The one complaint I have is that main character is a woman- who behaves like a guy. I’m not really sure the author can reliably write from a woman’s perspective. But it was entertaining, and I do recommend it.

Wasn’t bad but was nowhere near as good as The Martian or Project Hail Mary. Also even though the main character is supposed to be a woman in her 20s, it felt sometimes like I was reading the thoughts of a teenage boy :/

The POV character was so clearly a middle aged man's idea of a teen girl that it was off putting.
