I hate to say it but I was bored. I know this is well loved (sorry Kat!) but this wasn't the right book for me. It was a bit too predictable and I just couldn't get into it.

I would give this 3.5 stars if I could. It was a fun read, and I definitely wanted to know what happened in the next book but something I can’t quite articulate about the writing had me less excited to read it. So I found the summary of that one, read it and I’m good, as noted, an engaging and entertaining light read.
