I read other books by Alexandria house and I love how connected this series is to the other ones she wrote. The fact that the FMC Nadia is Lee Chester daughter was unexpected and I loved it. Nadia relationship worth her ex was kind crazy because he literally faked his own death because she told him no. Her ex sisters were crazy and do not are how much I liked his mom I would stay away from all of that because of him. I wished Nadia told her mother how she felt about her upbringing early because she could have got a happy medium without Nathan. The MMC Nathan family was a hot mess especially his mother and brother. The fact that he stepped up and took care of his brother son when both of the parents were being deadbeats made me like him more in this book. I was so mad when both of the parents tried to used the child as a weapon against Nathan. I love the fact that Nathan brought the energy in his pursuit to get with Nadia. I love the fact the kids wanted him to find love.

Anytime I get to read about my boy Uncle Lee, I’m all in!!! I thought I loved Neil McClain but he definitely has some competition with Mr. Nathan Moore. Superb

This is my first time reading (listening to) Alexandria House. I found the book on Audio Escapes. I was hesitant at first because I could not find an ebook, or paperback on Amazon, but figured I would give it a shot. I believe the Audiobook was about 9.5 almost 10 hours long.

I really enjoyed this book. It gives the reader a bit of everything. Love, lust, drama, pain, loyalty, friendship, etc, and it manages to not be overwhelmed with angst. It was steamy and sexy.

I liked that there was an intense attraction between Nate and Nadia, but it didn't turn into Instalove and they didn't divulge their life secrets in the first chapters. Nate didn't automatically let Nadia into his children's lives, and Nadia was not trying to have him meet all of her friends and family right away. They actually held off and worked at the relationship. Once they did decide to move in that direction, it was on.

Both Nate and Nadia had secrets in their pasts that resulted in issues in their present lives. I also liked that they sought therapy when they felt it necessary and there was no stigma attached to that decision.

When Nadia's father made his appearance, it became a laughfest. There was truly ratchet behavior that occurred, but it wasn't so much that it made me want to stop reading. It just was what it was. I liked that Nadia rocked her TWA.

Nate's kids were not perfect, nor were they little angels. They were not bad kids by any stretch of the imagination, but he did struggle with making sure they were properly cared for, and he definitely stepped to the plate. They were just good kids with special needs.

I thought the storyline with its different subplots was good. This book was full of twists and turns. It was great to read (listen to) an African American romance that was not only relatable, but accessed via an audiobook.

The narration was pretty good, but I wish the male narrator had read all of the male scenes and the female narrator had read all of the female scenes. That would be my only complaint if there was one.

I am glad I found this author. I will definitely be looking into finding more of her work. I am hoping that some of the other characters in this book have stories of their own.

This was decent but very very corny. I will not finish the series.

Nate was a very good man an a great father. I thought it was amazing how he took in his brothers son. He did a fantastic job with the kids.

The female main character was basic. I feel any attachment to her.

All the characters were poo

Fun

This book exceeded my expectations. I like that it wasn’t typical BDSM and that he didn’t take being a dominant to far.

On everything

Sooooo effin good! Love the chemistry between Nadia and Nate. He can threw and busted that harden shell she had around her heart. Got that old Nadia back and living life how it is supposed to be lived. If I had know she was Uncle Lee Chester's kid....man! That just made an already great story even better

The one thing I really love about this author is that her plots are always extremely unique. I really enjoyed the plot of this book as well as the revelations that were made. I also really enjoyed the male Dom, the spice was amazing. I can always count on Alexandria House to come with the heat.
