Loved it, not what the disclaimer says

Ok so it is, but not in seedy you can't live with yourself kind of way.
I kept putting off reading this book because I personally can't stand cheaters.
Yes, it happens in the book. However, it's for the best. I know it sounds off, but believe me it really is for the best.
The end is fantastic and unbelievable on some accounts, but awesome. I hate spoilers so I can't tell you, but it is totally worth the read.

The story was OK. I like that the female lead, Mac, was very independent even when she had someone willing to hand her everything but, like the male lead, Alex, she was immature. Running hot one minute and cold the next, had this whole "Yes, no, yes, no." thing going on. And as much as I didn't like the "bad guy" I am NOT a fan of cheating which is why I gave the rating I did.

I really wanted to love this book and give it more stars, but the entire time I read it, I just never quite bonded with it... If that makes sense.

I wasn't blown away by this story. It started off really well and had potential, then just slowly slid downhill from there. It wasn't bad, just expected more from BC then this.

This book started out so good! A dirty fantasy of a younger woman engaged to an older, wealthy man, when a hot young stallion comes into the picture. It was a romantic fantasy and I was eating it up... all the way until about 60% in when it became all about feelings and "secrets" of the past and went south for me. I was rolling my eyes through the rest of it and couldn't wait to finish.
Great start, disappointing ending.
