Dude, I fucking love this series. I really fucking do.
I love how all of the characters, even the villains, don't seem unnaturally over the top or cartoonish. While they don't feel like "real people," they also don't feel like card board cutouts of typical Shounen Jump tropes. I may not know everything about everyone yet, but I WANT to learn more about them and I want to see more of this world. The creepy at times but comical at times artwork and the intense fight scenes are just icing on this delicious cake.
There were so many memorable moments from this volume that I don't want to spoil, but the most memorable concept is Yuji's growth as a character and sorcerer. Stopping the fight between him and Junpei to actually talk to him and understand what he's going through was a touching and encouraging moment that nearly brought me to tears. On top of that, seeing the teacher that got on Junpei's case in the past not only punish the student who bullied him but ALSO take responsibility for his own mistakes dealing with Junpei was incredible. This series is amazing at making both the small and big moments count.
I won't saying anything else because spoilers, but holy shit I love this series. I'm so sad I have to wait until August for volume 5 *sad sigh*

Alright, let me get this out the way...a bubble saying "curse" infront of Mahito's junk while jumping in the water was hilarious. Moving on, again we end with a threat to someone's life depending on what type of girl they like by Todo! Funny, I like it. Nanami finally acknowledged Yuji as a sorcerer. The start of the Goodwill event is going to be amazing. Also, the fact that Gojo can turn his Infinity on and off is such a cool touch to his character. Shows how down to earth he can be around the people he cares about. And finally, Junpei is the Jujutsu Sorcerer who got away. The ending moments of that was epic. The depiction of realization of him about to die was heartbreaking. Mahito's dialogue didn't make it any better of course. Added to the heartbreak.
