So cute. Would love to read more. Very cute premise.
This was really sweet, with lovely art but I wish it had been longer and explored the new relationship more besides the quest they're on.
This book is so cute, it was such an enjoyable read.
A really cute graphic novel, reminiscent of Heartstopper and Sheets. I loved the art style, and the tones and colour palette of this book. It felt great to hold and was a lovely, chill autumn read. This is for those who are looking for something heartwarming, but still has a good story and pleasant characters, with absolutely stunning images. It’s also perfect for getting out of a reading slump as it’s so light and sweet!
Thank you to the publishers for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thieves by Lucie Bryon is a delightful and beautifully crafted story. At its heart, the novel delves into self-discovery, self-acceptance, learning from mistakes, and embracing forgiveness. While love is woven into the narrative, the book goes beyond traditional romantic themes, focusing on personal growth and authenticity.
The artwork in Thieves is nothing short of breathtaking. The simple yet vibrant colours skillfully capture the characters' emotions and the situations they find themselves in, enhancing the overall reading experience.
Initially expecting a light sapphic Bonnie and Clyde-esque tale, I was pleasantly surprised by the novel's depth. It fearlessly explores challenging subjects such as personhood, bullying, family dynamics, and morality. Importantly, it treats queerness as an ordinary aspect of everyday life, normalizing it rather than making it a subject that requires special attention.
Thieves is a captivating and thought-provoking book that goes beyond the surface of its themes. Lucie Bryon has created a richly layered narrative that touches on essential aspects of the human experience while telling a fun and engaging story. This novel is a must-read for those seeking sapphic representation and anyone yearning for a tale of growth, acceptance, and forgiveness.

I appreciate Ella and her best friend's relationship here more than the romantic relationship. I also think I just didn't really get this one?
