This book is so cute and I love the art styles so much. I love how it was able to deal with a heavy topic in a way that didn’t make the book heavy, and dealt with the main “problem” in a fun way. The communication by the characters felt real and I’m glad they’re talked to one another when there was a problem.
Ella and Madeline are so perfect together, and I also enjoyed Ella’s friendship with Leslie.

Voleuse est une BD magnifique dont les personnages m’ont profondément touchée. Le dessin est simple et maîtrisé avec de superbes couleurs qui donne beaucoup de caractère et de vie à l’ambiance. Les personnages sont toustes adorable et attachant-e. La relation entre Ella et Madeleine est superbement menée, et nous entraîne dans un tourbillon d’émotions. Vraiment une superbe lecture qui m’a fait beaucoup de bien.

This graphic novel was absolutely lovely. It was well drawn and well written and so wonderful queer that it made my heart sing.
The two main character, Ella and Madeline were well developed and I really liked how they had distinctive looks for the graphic element of the book too. They also felt like genuine teenagers, with the appropriate reactions and actions without that being annoying. Which is a very hard balance to find! The supporting cast were also well written and I loved how they felt unique too. Especially Ella's best friend.
The story was sweet and simple but I loved reading it. The physical and mental journey that Ella and Madeline went on was brilliant and of course I loved the queer romance and rep that is also in this book because it was incredibly well written and really added to the story too.
Simply put, this graphic novel is a celebration of being queer and beign a teenager full of antics to keep you entertained!
