Series Review:
All in all this is a really cute story that does touch on how hard loss can be on someone, and what it takes to move forward which I really like. What I don't like is going around in circles and taking 12 volumes and 47 chapters to finally come to terms with feelings they have had since page one. Some of the situations that kept them away from one another where annoying at best and frustrating at worst. And the supporting character, specifically the ones trying to keep the main pairing apart were both down right awful becboth of them had a toxic trait and need to keep the MCs to themselves which I could not stand

I CANT BELIEVE THATS THE END… I WANT MORE!!!
Futaba and Kou are TOGETHER!
At first, Futaba feels as if she’s being too greedy for Kou attention but after they address it and Kou reassures her that he wants her to be as greedy as as she wants, Futaba feels better.
Oh Kominato nearly reveals to Futaba that Kou has a notebook with her name written down but Kou interrupts before he can get it all out. Heheh. I’d love to see Futaba find out.
And then it’s reveals that Kou actually named his cat after Futaba—‘Yoshioka’ using her last name. He claims it’s because the cat eats a lot just how Futaba does too. But we know that’s not the only reason. sigh my heart.
Kominato finally gets around to asking Shuko out. They go to the movies on Valentine’s Day, joined by Kou and Futaba. Kominato is all excited and so cute omg I was definitely rooting for him and Shuko.
Damnn… omg ok there were a few very painful moment in this volume that had my heart racing. I was so worried and on the verge of crying but I’m so thankful that what I thought might’ve been happening wasn’t actually happening 😮💨
…Kou changed his name back to Tanaka. Honestly this shows his character growth so much. He’s healing and it’s a testament to how far he’s come.
“You being with me Futaba… is the one thing I hope never changes.”
ASDFGHJKLAAHHHHHHHH
That was such a lovely ending. I really enjoyed this manga series so much. There’s even an anime so I think I’ll check that out next.

THE END! i’m so sad it’s over, this was truly such a cute manga series that i now hold to my heart because it has so much growth between literally so many characters. i loved seeing Kou especially grow so so much! he was such an upset person in the very beginning, and then through new friends and a romance he became such a happy person. i love it. i love it so much!! It was such a bittersweet ending, i love that Futaba and Kou ended up together and that tiny scare in the end almost got me, i had to reread the previous pages thinking i read wrong but… just a dream… haha! but it definitely gave me a startle.

Ah, youth.
What a satisfying ending! Going back to where it started. I can't help but cry. I think I appreciated this series even much better. Kou and Futaba may deserve all the hate other onlookers will give them, but they're only human. With flaws and everything. It's better to always come clean and be honest with yourself instead of holding back and regretting it later. It was a beautiful series of one hell of a youth ride. My poor heart though. The shuttle was too fast for me, now I'm all alone again! AUGH I NEED ANOTHER SHOUJO SERIES
