The Phoenix and Mercury pack are great, great, shifter book series. Like top notch. Always recommend. But the Olympus pride series just shows much Suzanne has grown as a writer bc these books are all slam dunks. Like DAMN.

When he’s sinful hits every itch you wanted to scratch for these two since day 1. This is def one of her longer books in the shifter world and by god, in those extra pages we got quiiiite a lot of very spicy sex. Camden is a dirty dog and I’m here for it and so is Aspen.

Mon préféré de la série Olympus. J’ai adoré cette amitié profonde qui s’étend dans un tout autre type de relation

not my fave but not bad!

A solid read but not my favorite from this author. While Camden was deliciously possessive at certain points, I just didn't feel the love between them. And that's actually kind of hard to explain because I can clearly feel how dependent and attached they are ti each other, but I just didn't feel the actual love connection between them as much as we do in the other books. Still a decent read though

So last time when it was When He’s an Alpha that was going to be released next, I made the unfortunate mistake of reading the preview that Ms. Wright posted and I was immediately sucked into Tate and Havana’s story and I wanted to read it right then which wouldn’t have been a big deal if I still didn’t have a couple of more months left before I could. It put me in a funk more than once because it was the only thing I wanted to read and I had trouble finding other books while I bided my time. As you can imagine, in order to prevent that from happening again, I didn’t read anything that had to do with Camden and Aspen’s story. I mean, I knew it was about them and I was excited to read it, but yeah, I didn’t want a repeat of last time. Anyway, I dove into When He’s Sinful as soon as I was able to on release day and man, oh man, did I love this book!

Seriously, When He’s Sinful was sooooo good! It had me laughing and entertained from the get-go and I stayed like that the whole way through. I stayed up super late to read it and I don’t regret it one bit — I could not get enough! This book was so fun and steamy and while I’m typically not the biggest fan of the friends to lovers trope anymore, I knew Ms. Wright wouldn’t disappoint and she certainly didn’t. I had the absolute, best rocking time with When He’s Sinful — I just loved it so much!

My thoughts on this book are a jumble, but, overall, this is a fun world that Wright has created with some funny characters and some good moments and some sweet love and some steamy sex.

Random thoughts:

1. Watching Aspen and Camden work through their issues was interesting but the amount of denial from both was a bit much. It dragged on a bit longer than needed

2. Wright is a fan of rough sex. Nothing too kinky but I think it’s important to know before reading her

3. The mystery provided e light red herrings and good clues to keep it interesting. But the end was predictable because this is kind of Wright’s pattern now. I won’t spoil it, but she’s got a pattern and if you’ve read the first two then you kind of know how it will play out.

4. I hate the “true mate” thing and how she constantly throws in people who are true mates with huge age gaps between them. Why is the male a grownup and the female still a little girl in so many of her pairings? And how come it so often blows up? It is disturbing how often little girls find out they are true mates to grown as men and then the men have to wait while she grows up but they are in contact? Ugh. Gross. Makes me not want to read the next one.

Ahhh this was so good!!

I’m usually more of an enemies to lovers than friends to lovers kind of person but I’ve been dying to read Aspen and Camden’s story since the beginning. They were just so oblivious and I knew it was going to be fun when the fireworks went off. Which turned out to be 100% true. Aspden together were FIRE. Cam gave off just the right amount of Alpha vibes and Aspen submitted just enough but was still the feisty FMC typical of a Suzanne Wright novel.

I loved the way Suzanne wrote the villain storyline with uncertainty as to who the actual villain was until the reveal near the end. Although I figured it out early on, I knew she would write it in a super-charged, adrenaline-inducing way. The fighting was spectacular and neither Aspen or Camden disappointed.

Honorable mention goes to Bailey’s random thoughts. I cannot stop wondering what would happen to if a werewolf bit a zombie now
