It was at this point when I began to fear that no one would get out alive! Seriously intense stuff. Every time I fear that this series is going down a predictable road, Hoshino throws in another plot twist! I think she does it deliberately...

I can’t exactly talk about what’s happening in the story since it will be full of spoilers but I do wish that the battles would slow down. I like when they explore the lore of the world but I get annoyed when there’s a lot of battles happening (which I know for a shonen it’s normal to have a lot of battles, but I do wish we could see more lore). But I do recommend reading the series, the lore is very interesting when you get to it.

Still a full of action scenes, this feels like a final arc, but it was from that.

The author still manages to keep the dark twisted story until now. I love how the side character manages to shine on their own without the mc saving them, and the power up is just insane.

Allen and his innocence yoww. The blade is not that pretty, but super strong. I like how the innocence blade is represent Allen heart to save everyone, including the Akuma itself.

The pain is my favorite villain and my bae is fighting with each other (and my bad for rooting for both cough).

This volume could be called one thing, very satisfying. After all, the vampire was able to win his fight and Allen finally was able to defeat Myki and yet I found it just as shocking of how he was able to win. Then there was the upgrade that Allen had during their gripping fight was cool and I feel that there is a clear parallel between Allen, Lenalee and the Earl.
