Lara Jean and Peter's relationship is just getting started when a boy from her past, and receiver of one of her letters, walks back into her life. To complicate matters even more, Peter is still close with his ex-girlfriend Genevieve who's dealing with her own personal problems. Lara Jean is about to find out that falling in love is the easy part.

P.S. I Still Love You is book two in the widely popular To All the Boys I've Loved Before series. Lara Jean continues to be authentic and relatable and the Song family dynamic is well written and developed. One of the things I appreciate about this series is the relationship between the sisters. In this installment, Lara Jean forms a relationship with an elderly woman named Stormy, and their relationship is so honest and endearing.

Overall, a feel-good story filled with typical teen romance, some conflict and a lot of drama. In other words, a typical YA romance. There's nothing overly original and I definitely didn't enjoy this it as much as the first. It falls victim to the sequel curse, and in all honesty To All the Boys I've Loved Before would have been better left as a standalone.
I've learned YA and I have a complicated relationship.

Yes, I'll likely finish the trilogy at some point this year, but it's not a priority.

Again, this was cute and I enjoyed most of the romance in this one too. I loved John Ambrose and I found Peter K not great in this one. And the ending!!! I didn't love how it all played out

I started this right after reading To All the Boys, so I'll admit the stories have blurred together a bit! I liked seeing Lara Jean interacting with more people -- Stormy, John Ambrose, Ms. Rothschild -- but I also missed the lighthearted banter between her and Peter. Oh, if only the two of them communicated better!

Throughout this entire book, I tried to not like John Ambrose McClaren because I want to be faithful to Peter but it was so hard. I’m still team Peter though. Team Peter all the way!

I don’t know what else to say but I liked the first book better. Hopefully the third book is as good as the first one.
