Easily one of the BEST books I’ve read this year! This is the type of story that will stick with me and I’m more than likely to re-read again. There were so many twists and turns, just when I thought one issue was settled, the next shoe dropped.

Based on the title, I assumed we would focus on Dream and Damien, but I quickly realized that I was getting multiple storylines in this once book. And my heart rejoiced. I fell hard for Smoke! The character development was top notch, as gruesome and/ or savage as things got. I felt like I knew these people. And I was invested in this story I spent the whole day reading in between clients

I could not put this down! It was filthy, raunchy, vulgar, and entertaining from beginning to end! I absolutely DEVOURED this book! The spice was off the charts and the storyline was captivating! Don’t walk, run! You won’t regret it!

Demon and Cartier are no nonsense men who plays no games. I love everything about this book. Okkk I need book two. Demon and Dream have a connection at first sight and from that point on it was a ride. Cartier and Dayana was a nice surprise.

Just read the damn book. It’s so worth your time

I was not prepared for this book to end!! Elle Kayson did her thing with this book! If you love urban romance just pick up the book!!!
adventurous dark funny mysterious tense fast-paced

This book was ad-dic-ting!! Looking at the cover, I was nervously thinking what am I getting into, but I was so intrigued by all hype! Well the hype is valid! Demon, Dream, Smoke, and Yana had me so glued to their stories that I didn’t want to put it down.

Now, is some of the happenings disturbing, yes, but still… I kept reading. This is not for the faint at heart, or if you don’t like A LOT of spice, look away! Although there was a lot of spice, there IS also a great storyline. There is action, brutal action too!

✔︎I was invested in how Dream handles being promised to Dream for 30 days….
✔︎I was invested in how Demon became Demon from his young life…
✔︎I was Invested in how Yana, deals with an arranged marriage to Jordyn…
✔︎I was invested in how Smoke deals with his grief!
✔︎I was invested in all of their intermingled dealings!

This 700+ page book is worth every page and there is NEVER a dull moment! Just know there is violence, 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️, abuse, and grief.

This was my first book by Elle Kayson, and I want to read another. Her story telling is that good!

Shout out to my buddy reading girlies! I’m still team DemonSmoke!

MUST READ!!!!

Whew I have never not wanted a long book to end but after 747 pages I still want more. I really did not want this book to end, I slowed down when I got about 600 pages in because I realized it was coming to an end soon and I wasn’t ready. I absolutely loved this book. I experienced every emotion there is to feel while reading this. One moment I was laughing then the next thing I knew I was crying at 5am. I can’t believe Elle Kayson gave us 747 pages of nothing but amazing story telling that left me still wanting more.

Demon…Demon…Demon!!!

The character development for Demon was one for the books. Demon was just that a demon out here in these streets, but the way Dream was able to bring out Damien, sis deserved a medal for that. I knew Damien was a goner when he went through Dream’s phone. I enjoyed both Damien and the Demon side of him but when he would crack jokes, I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. Dream was everything, sis played no games and held nothing back. I loved her back and forth with Damien. While most people feared Demon, Dream challenged him at every turn, and I was here for it every single time. Dream was the good girl that took care of everyone else but herself, so it was good to see Damien taking care of her. Kam was a great addition to the storyline, him and Damien’s relationship was comical.

Smoke and Dayana were the second couple in the book and their journey to love was also a great addition. Dayana is Dream’s younger sister who is just as fiery as her sister. Smoke and Dayana were arranged to marry other people while Smoke’s didn’t work out prior to meeting Dayana, Dayana’s engagement on the other hand was moving right along until a chain of events occurred landing her right in the arms of Smoke. Smoke was just a ruthless as Demon in the streets, but I like how he didn’t fight his love for Dayana too much and for the most part went with the flow once he was able to deal with his grief.

Dream and Dayana’s father infuriated me from the very first page. I was ready for something to happen to him for the way he treated his daughters. But on the flip side I like how their grandfather spoke up when he needed to, and I loved the way he loved on Dream.

This was an urban romance masterpiece that gave me the perfect amount of romance, crime, and. The pace of this book flowed very well, once I started reading, I didn’t even think about how long this book was because I was just so caught up in the story that nothing else mattered.
