This was new new to me. Not my usual romance, but I had fun with it. I felt it was a little overhyped. But the one who said every single one of the 750+ pages was necessary was not wrong, not once did I feel the book dragged or was boring. The characters all 'ate' lol. It was sweet, romantic, spicy -the spice was excellent too... where it was supposed to be. It was a nice read.

5 Stars ⭐️: I’m probably going to have more to rave about later, but for right now all I can say is this book was fucking AMAZING!!!!! A million and one stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !! Between Damien (Demon) and Dream, Cartier (Smoke) and Dayana I don’t know which pair stressed me out the most!! My emotions were all over the place!!

This book came highly recommended from readers on TikTok. So I decided to give it a try because my TikTok recommendations have been 10 out of 10 and this one did not disappoint! This book has everything in it - love, sexy times, action, mystery, laugh out loud moments, Mental health discussions …it is so good. Don’t let the length scare you because you won’t want to put it down. Do yourself a favor and get this book.

This was soooo good! Not sure how a 700+ page book makes you feel like it wasn’t long enough but I’m not mad about it. Elle better be busy writing a follow up right now

6 🌟 YAAASSSSS! SIX. FREAKING. STARS. I absolutely devoured this book; it was like reading a movie & I loved everything about it!!! This is definitely my favorite read of 2024 as of now! I have absolutely no complaints except I didn't want it to end.
I ended up loving Demon/Damien just like I knew I would, & majority of the book, I just wanted to give him a hug. Both him & Smoke were my kind of “touch her & die” men, & they both followed through on their word more than once, & I was here for it all!!! Dream & Dayana were definitely the women they needed in their lives, & their HEAs were so beautiful to me! 🥹 And there were so many side characters I really enjoyed that I honestly can't name them all, but everyone added sustenance to the story no matter what side of the game they played for imo.
I also must say I loved the many POVs we got in this book; it was never repetitive, every person side of the story helped move the plot/story along flawlessly, & it was just so well done. I was sooooo invested in the darker elements/themes in this book as well, & I wanted more of Demon's flashbacks tbh. I had also hoped to get more of Melanie's side of things, but what happened to her didn't diminish the quality of the story in the least bit. I'm already itching for a reread of all 700+ pages of this book, but a physical copy MUST be acquired first, because I want to take my time with this one the next time I read it lol!

Every strong headed, outspoken, overly independent woman needs a little Demon in their life tbh... And I'm living through Dream, as Dream vicariously! 🥰👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Not gonna lie, i picked this up because there was some drama surrounding the cover, but boy am i glad i did. From chapter one it sucks you in. I could not put this down. The only negative i will say is i wish she didn't give in so easily when he was being awful. I dont know why authors will have their MMC's be horrible to the FMC, then she'll be ready to leave only for him to persuade her to stay with smex??? That really annoys me. Overall the book is great and is worth the read!

This book is hotter than a jalapeño pepper eating a habanero pepper while sitting in a sauna! Elle Kayson came out of left field with this one, and let me tell you, she hit it out of the park! The bar has been raised so high, it's practically in outer space! I'm diving headfirst into her other works because if they're even half as good as this, I'm in for a rollercoaster ride of emotions!
