This is a quick short read that introduces you to the life of Amber Patterson. Amber moves to Gunnison to have more opportunities and begins working as a waitress. She begins to develop a connection with one of her customers and it blossoms from there. I enjoyed seeing where the story went from start to finish. I would recommended checking out this book if you want to get to know who Amber is. Next up I can't wait to see more of Amber's story in The Last Mrs. Parrish.

A super short prequel to the last Mrs. Parrish. Very quick read, but I enjoyed getting to read a little more about amber. Very rushed as it’s a novella that takes place over several months, but I felt like I got enough information for what the story was. Not a must read but enjoyable if you’re a big the last mrs. Parrish/liv Constantine fan.

Yess this prequel novella to The Last Mrs. Parrish was everything. I had no clue where this was going to go and I kept side eyeing Amber because I didn’t know how to feel about her. Towards the end I was rooting for her ass and I still am. I think this was just the right amount of perfect to get me excited for The Last Mrs. Parrish. Amber might be unlikable, but I hope she gets everything she’s looking for and more.

Short story I read this in one day. It’s nice to see Amber’s character and some of the things that made her who she was. She an unique individual and very ambitious. She’s willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants or should I say who.
