I thought this was a decently entertaining book. I like books with alternating POVs, especially in the psychological thriller genre. It just dragged a bit for me, took me longer to finish than usual. Still engaging enough for me to read in like 50-70 page bursts each time I picked it up. Didn’t wow me tho

This isn't my usual read - the content can be triggering but I definitely kept reading and was involved int he story. If you are looking for a dark psychological thriller/mystery, this is for you.

This was an interesting plot. I did a lot of these studies in college, so it was interesting considering how much info we share with who we consider experts and with therapists. The writing was as usual a little over-explainy, but that helps when the ol' brain is at capacity.  Was wondering if the author had sensitivity readers for disability for this one. I really wasn't into the present tense narration.

Draws you in. Twists that make you think. There were several times I had to put it down to absorb the information I just read

Even though there is not graphic detail of situations there is nuances of characteristics and the question of what a person could do out of desperation. Some may not be comfortable with this scenario.
