It was slow to start but eventually hooked me in. I didn’t call the murderer at first, they kind of slid in at the end there, but still a good shock in my opinion. Big nice guy energy lol. Everybody cheating! Not mind blowing, but not bad overall.

In general, I had a solid time reading this. It's not going to go down as the best or most memorable thriller I've read, and it was less thrilling vs whodunit, but it was a decent time. The grandma was by far the best character, and I enjoyed Lucy's dark humor. The plot twist felt a little off for me, but I didn't hate it.

I really liked it. It's not necessarily the best story ever, but somehow I was still very intrigued. I didn't guess who it was, so the big reveal was surprising to me. I'm not sure if it makes sense in my mind, but it didn't ruin the story for me.
The writing was a bit repetitive... Certain themes or thoughts popped up again and again and could've in my opinion been at least rephrased a little, so it wouldn't feel so very samey.
The grandma reminded me of meemaw, but that might just be the accent and the fact that I just finished watching Young Sheldon...

All in all a good book and a nice 2-day listening experience for me.
