I really enjoyed that even though there were 3 people in the relationship that there were dates between each of them at any given point. It gave a realistic view to a polyamory relationship. This felt a little more disjointed in the drama department but I really like that all the characters had their own development that they had to work through.

Things I liked:
- Really adorable romance. I loved Colt and Sarah’s one that got away thing going on. Sammy was so sweet. I really loved his character.
- I really loved how much Sammy communicated and was honest about what he wanted. Really emotionally mature conversations between all of them.
- I did like this and enjoyed the plot.
Things I didn’t like:
- I had a hard time getting through this. It took me a lot longer than it normally does.
- Seems like there were a lot of threads to the story that never got finished all of the way.
Sammy letting his family see the real him and being more authentic with people. Davy and Jake seemed to drop off completely in the end. I was very consumed with that it felt weird that they weren’t a bigger part of the ending.

I have always loved Clio Evan's writing style. She is one of my favorite authors and I hadn't read this series yet. I was interested in the premise (I'll be checking out book 1 sometime in the near future), but wow I think I'm a fan of romance mystery. This was so fun! I loved every aspect of this. The only complaint I have was that the ending wrapped up fairly quickly. I had caught onto the "mystery" of the stalker about 75% of the way through and I just felt that he climax of this book went by so quick that it was anti-climatic. Oh, and the third act break-up (while I understand why it happened) irritated me because I was screaming just talk to them!! Still, I really loved Sarah, Colt, and Sammy together. I loved the boys. I loved the whole family community they had.

I enjoyed this. But same as the previous book, it could have been better developed.

Book 2 of the Citrus Cove series, I walked into this book thinking it might be a simple small town romance. Nope. Cleo covers topics from sexual exploration to her ex-husband having a twin that was a serial killer. A lot happens and it's all in a good way. Character chemistry is on point and I love everything about Sam, Colt and Sarah being together. Sam and Colt having that protective vibe really works to balance Sarah when she needs the assist in taking care of her kids and herself. I'm glad I was able to read this without needing book 1 because I did not feel lost reading this. This is also my first time reading a book by this author and I am grateful to have had the chance.
