Stolen Chances is the second book in the Citrus Cove series in which we follow Sarah and her boys nine months after she became a single mom and learning how to get on with her life. Between work and ongoing therapy along with raising two boys, Sarah doesn't even have romance on her radar but Colton, her high school crush, and Sammy, her brother-in-laws brother, have different ideas.

I felt this book was well-written and easily could have been read in one sitting. I thought everything flowed really well moving between the growing romance between the guys and Sarah as well as between Colton and Sammy and the mystery around who is causing trouble for Sarah. Thankfully everyone in the family is really close so Sarah and the guys had a great support group for helping out with the boys especially when some alone time is needed! Definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.

Thank you to Grey Promotions for the advanced readers copy of this book!

Sometimes romantic suspense doesn't have the right balance between the romance and the suspense aspects. Stolen Chances was just right.

The perfect ratio of romance, suspense, and scenes that would make you blush, this small town MMF kept me invested from start to finish.

I loved Rachel's character, and even without reading the first book in the series, I was able to successfully put together the missing pieces for fully rounded context, and she really did have a rough ride of it in life. David was the ultimate POS. I loved seeing her and her kids heal and be there for each other through previous and current trauma, while bringing Colt and Sammy into the fold with relative low angst and open honest conversations.

This was everything I expected from Clio's previous works and her transition from PNR/monster romance to small town romance is wonderfully done. You can tell it's the same author, but there's a clear differentiation between subgenres.

My only wish was that we had a more well rounded feel for Sammy, who I was super intrigued by, I wanted to know more. Aside from that, I have nothing actually negative to say.

You should read this if you love small town romances, but feel like they're not usually spicy enough for you. And if you appreciate your FMCs going through a healing journey and achieving self love.

The Harlow Brothers are back and sexier than ever! I loved this story of self-discovery for all three of these partners. Each of them grows both individually and together so they are such a cohesive unit by the end. Also, this series is such a perfect entry point into Romantic suspense! If you want some of the additional plot and drama to help set up your romance, definitely check this out. I will say that you will probably be best served reading the first one before you get to this one.
Drink this book: Enjoy with a juicy Italian red like Barbara unless you have Texas wine available!

The premise of this book quickly drew me in. I love a story about a woman finding happiness after trauma. In this case, double happiness. Sarah has a hard time trusting that anyone could love and want her after everything she has been through. I can relate to that. It’s hard to adjust to normal behavior after being around abuse for so long. Sammy and Colt were equally loveable characters. The dynamic created in their polyamorous relationship felt very healthy with open communication from the start.

This book was definitely romance first with a suspense subplot. I was more interested in investigating the danger at a point that the spice scenes felt like they were in the way. Don’t get me wrong, they were A+ scenes. I just wanted everyone to worry a little bit more about solving the mystery. Everything felt slow, and the most action happened at the very end. I liked that it was over quickly, but I wanted a bit more buildup.

Overall, this book was a fun read. I recommend checking this book out if you are looking for a romance forward, spicy book with a sprinkle of mystery and suspense. Check your triggers!

Broken hearts mend stronger

This throuple is HOT. The spice is SPICY. The drama is high, the laughter is frequent, and there are a lot of cute, feet kicking moments.
I do wish the book was like 300 more pages so I could have seen more of what the family unit looks like under one house. Does Davy ever change his name? Do they get the school straightened out? How do the guys differ in parenting styles? I also would like to see Sammy make content when they all share a house and a life. Also, does Sarah bake for a living yet? I hope we see more of this group in the next book(which I will be reading).
