Unfortunately this one fell flat for me. I started off super confused having started with book two of a series so I was missing lots of minor details (which I did get answered but not until near halfway done the book). Then when I finally got into it I realized the writing style wasn't for me. I don't know what it was really but by the 70% ish point I was over this book, like reading blindly done with this book.

I was nervous to read this because I don’t read or tend to enjoy romantic suspense books, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The author wrote Stolen Chances very well and I was impressed with the way she added in the romance to this thrilling read!
There’s brothers best friend and childhood lovers-to-strangers-to-lovers, oh and Sammy is Sarah’s BIL’s brother… They’ve all got their own baggage, but they complement each other perfectly. Throw a vengeful ex-husband and a stalker into the equation, and the trio suddenly has their hands full navigating the strange happenings.
I truly enjoyed getting to see the development and depth of these characters as they balanced a new relationship and the chaos embedded in their lives. The suspense was definitely real and had me holding my breath to find out what was going to happen and WHEN things were going to happen.
