OMG this book was about the death of me ….. Really and still sorta is.
I don’t even know really what to say about this book without spoiling things. All I know is if you are not a fan of dark and emotional books, you really should skip these.
But while the books are pretty dark and can be heart breaking they were also so very beautiful, fulfilling and just pure awesomeness at the same time .
I really enjoyed book one and the world setting but I loved book two even more, just everything about it, The people, the story the building up of the awesome ending.
It was killing me softly but I loved every minute if this book.
August is one of my all-time favorite character and it was just awesome to follow him and his struggles. Kate , man I really liked her too . But what I liked about it more was Kate and August together, not as a couple which was refreshing, but the friendship they had . They just made each other so much better and stronger.
Again I’m not sure what all there is to say without spoiling it so I just make it short and sweet .. I loved this book, the characters and the world so much and I was sad to see it end.
I rate it full 5 ★

fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck
fuck this shit
I'm just so
UGHHHHHHHHHHH THAT FUCKING ENDING
I'm fucking done like I can't even omfg
Victoria was definitely NOT playing nice with this book, holy shit

I'm so shook and hurt and in PAIN i can't write a coherent review so I apologize in advance.

I forgot like everything that happened in TSS but I ended up remembering, thank GOSH for those expertly done recaps. But aside from that, I actually think I like TSS better than this one, though this one was still AMAZING. TSS just got me feeling some way idk I'm like hung up on it or something.

The plot and the characters and the world is just so UGH YES and I'm just like addicted to it; I read this book in a little more than a day. I thought the pacing was really good, no part was boring/did not hold my interest.
I loved the characters, as always Kate and August are SOOOOOO AMAZING I LOVE THEM SO FUCKING MUCH and the character development in Kate and August was really well done throughout the series.

Everything went to total shit at the end, I was actually spoiled (my stupid bitch ass always gets spoiled) and I knew Kate was going to die and I was like oh shit FUCKKKKKK NO BITCH and so I was holding off reading this book for like 4 months, yeah that's called denial. And when the ending happened?
BETTER BELIEVE I WAS SOBBING.

FUCKING ALICE AND HER ANNOYING ASS AND HER AND KATE'S SHOWDOWN AND THEM KILLING EACH OTHER AND I JUST OH MY FUCKING GOD AND THEN AUGUST WAS BEGGING HER TO STAY WITH HIM LIKE SHE STAYED WITH HIM WHEN HE WAS DYING ASKJGJENFJJFJGNIFJENFKFKFJGVIDJBEJCIDJEHDCJJSFH
AND THEN HE HEARD HER VOICE IN HIS HEAD AT THE VERY END OF THE BOOK AND I WAS LJKE OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY GOSH
THANKS FOR KILLING ME

okay this "review" was long and rambly and doesn't make sense, I apologize. and I can't write anything more because I'm too shocked lmfao so I guess that's all I have to say.
