Loved it. Love Eve - she was funny, flawed, clever, and loving. And loved Jacob - the hottest of the Brown sister MMCs in my opinion! Their character growth warmed my heart and the bed & breakfast sitting was so cute. This is definitely a comfort romance read for me now!

Overall a cute romance and fun characters, but nothing astounding.

I liked that the characters had very relatable flaws that they work through throughout the course of the book. Despite coming from a lot of privilege and having (relatively) small problems, Eve was a likable character that I wanted to root for. There were “enemies to lovers” vibes, but they weren’t enemies that make you wonder why they would ever get together.

I didn’t like how fast the timeline was — two weeks just seems like not enough for me to believe in their relationship development. And while the spicy scenes were well written, it sometimes felt like the characters in the rest of the plot were totally different than the characters in smut scenes.

Chloe Brown was definitely my favourite of this series, but I found something relatable in every main character, including Eve and Jacob.  It was a good time for sure, and gave me a peek into how other people see the world.
