Talia Hibbert enlightens us with her third and final book in the Brown Sisters trilogy. In this book we follow the youngest sister Eve Brown as she is cut off from her parents trust fund until she can prove that she can hold down a job for more then a month. Trying to prove her parents wrong Eve comes upon a bed & breakfast eagerly applying for the cook position. After a failed interview she literally runs into the boss of the establishment breaking his arm. Jacob Wayne now must deal with this chaotic girl helping him run his business and trying to keep her out of his mind in the process.

The romance between Eve & Jacob has to be my favorite out of all the brown sister books! I really enjoyed their chemistry and their banter. Their moments together were so funny and genuinely sweet to read. I really liked the opposites attract aspect of their relationship, how they started out disliking each other then over time finding things they had in common. Finding out that they weren't so opposite after all. They both brought out the good in each other, Jacob brought some stability to Eve's life and Eve brought a bit of spontaneity to Jacob's organized life. I love couples who both benefit from being with the other and how they can bring out the best in each other!

My favorite part of this has to be the autism representation. Jacob is a man who has Autism and was diagnosed when he was a child and possibly Eve who may be Autistic finding out she might be when she is an adult. Not many books do you see a romance showcasing an Autistic character Falling in love with someone even rarer is two Autistic people falling in love. I really liked the portrayal of Autism, showing that each person who has it is different not the same as what most people think about Autism. Also Jacob's Autism isn't treated like it is his only personality trait or that he isnt capable of doing things neurotypical people can do. His Autism is just a part of who he is along with his personality making him be able to do things just in his own way.

The setting of the B&B is a perfect cozy location giving off such sweet vibes for the romance. Also like the other books the side characters are great as the bond with the family is amazing too. Eve how she grows as a person and stands up for herself with her family, her bond with her older sisters is wholesome and wonderful. The third act conflict was handled better like the second book and it was resolved quickly. This one is easily my favorite of the trilogy, I enjoyed this trilogy immensely and am glad that I got a chance to read it!

A charming love story with characters who feel like real humans with real flaws and real bodies. Definitely enemies to lovers, set in the British countryside. Eve is such a bright, sparkly character, you immediately love her despite her flaws and hot mess express persona. I can't wait to read about her sisters (yes, I started backwards)

Act Your Age, Eve Brown is proof that neurodivergent people thrive in environments without ableist expectations being placed on them. They thrive when their needs are met.

This was a fun and sweet romance.

Talia Hibbert’s characters all jump off the page. They’re just so fun, humorous, and lively. I love their different dynamics with each other.

What to expect from the Brown sisters trilogy:
1. So! much! horniness!!
2. Plus size, Black, Muslim, Queer, Neurodivergent and disability representation
3. Loveable and slightly ridiculous and dramatic (said with affection) characters/situations
4. Beautiful family bonds
5. Humor!
6. Minor/Brief Harry Potter references

To no one's surprise, Talia Hibbert does it again! I loved Eve Brown and Jacob Wayne! OML. I'm melting! Swooning! Sobbing in feels because holy sweetness, these two were simply everything. 💜 But also, JACOB. WAYNE. SIR! 👀

TL;DR: It took me forever to finally read this book and finish The Brown Sisters series but this solidifies it as one of my all-time favourite romance series and I highly recommend it! Eve and Jacob were so easy to root for and I loved their character arcs. I delighted in their connection and despite a rocky start to their relationship, they had fantastic chemistry and an emotional romance that's written with so much heart! These two deserved all the happiness and I loved seeing them find it together. 🥰 My heart is so full!

Despite their grumpy sunshine personalities, Eve and Jacob had plenty of similarities. They are both brilliant, talented and hard-working but they have trouble understanding social cues and making friends, and are both riddled with self-doubt from past experiences. This is an own-voice romance where both our MCs are autistic and although I cannot speak on the rep, I do love the care with which Hibbert writes our characters and their experiences.

In a family of highly successful overachievers, Eve's sunshine yet flighty personality makes her the family's disappointment and black sheep. She's full of brilliant ideas but she's terrified of failing so she's stopped trying at all. I adored Eve's character arc in this book! She experiences so much growth in the areas of self-love and her belief in herself without sacrificing her bright-as-day and force-of-nature personality. In similar ways, Jacob also experiences so much growth. Following the traumatic events of his childhood, he struggles with abandonment issues and wholeheartedly believes no one will ever choose to stay for him and oh, my heart broke. He's a full-on grumpasaurus rex but underneath that icy, straight-laced, slightly terrifying exterior is a giant fluffy marshmallow man of feelings who simply wants to provide people a home away from home, where they never feel like they have to compromise their happiness to find comfort.

Was their romance instalove? Considering everything happens in two weeks, yes. But did it feel like it? Not at all! Their characters and romance were so well-fleshed out. I love how they went from being unable to stand each other to appreciating each other's ways of being to becoming friends to eventual lovers. They are both carers and they give each other the patience, kindness and love they need to thrive. It was just so adorable! The way they love on each other made my heart feel like it was going to explode with all the happiness and FEELINGS!!! So many freaking feelings and I could not get enough! 😭 Also, their banter is exquisite but I knew it was going to be because this is an area where Hibbert truly excels. Their dynamic and chemistry were so good and every moment with them had me laughing, crying, and swooning.

I mean, if you can't tell, I really loved this book. I'm sad that there are no more books for the Brown Sisters but this was a very satisfying and perfect last book in a wonderfully heartwarming and hilarious series. If you're thinking of reading it, do it!

This was a good insight into Eve's character. Talia Hibbert does a good job in making things heartwarming, slightly ridiculous, and a bit cheesy without it being cringey (much like Eve herself). I liked how the relationship between Jacob and Eve progressed; it felt very natural (even though it went from hatred to love in 2 weeks, but the progression and getting to know each other period was done well, and both characters are quite intense with their emotions, so for them it makes sense). For side characters, as usual Gigi is iconic, and if there aren't books dedicated to Alex and Tessa, then there should be! I still think that the second book did the best with the third act break-up, but this book also did it pretty well. It was so sweet to see their conflict resolved with an honest conversation (as it should be; it could have been resolved right away with such, but I get Jacob's issues and insecurities as well as the need to build tension for a more cathartic payoff) as well as a grand romantic gesture that perfectly suits the couple (dramatic as they BOTH are). This was sweet and lovely. This family is so chaotic and iconic, and I love them (the fact that Gigi and Shivani are the voices of reason of the family is absolutely hilarious since Gigi is so dramatic all on her own, but her down-to-earth advice always hits).
