The way this series ended on a high note gives me so much warmth and fuzzies!

Eve Brown had the best romance out of all her sisters in my opinion (not to mention she might also be my favorite sister). It broke my heart when she thought of herself as an inadequate adult when it was so obvious how she tried (oh how that part hit way too close to home). And Jacob Wayne????? I want to give that grump the biggest bear hug!!!!! His character deserves so much and it was great to see him gradually realize that towards the end.

I love Eve and Jacob's chemistry. It was heartwarming and sweet and ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ. I physically felt my heart clench during their big conflict and I think that solidified it as a really good book.

This series was a joy to experience. Highly recommended!

Romance novels are not typically my jam because theyโ€™re predictable and unrealistic and juvenile and way too sappy. Enemies to lovers never seems feasible to me and as a subgenre I always think itโ€™s a bit too over the top. This enemies to lovers romance novel didnโ€™t make me feel any of those things. It told a story โ€” a complicated one โ€” of growth, love, identity, and hard work. The characters are so loveable and their banter is to die for. Not to mention the spice in this book โ€” while only occurring a few times โ€” is well worth the wait.
