3.5 stars. cute rom-com. but one one biggest pet-peeves in a book is overdone pop cultural references. even worse, they are kind of old. i would have loved if this was dual pov too.

That was the most fun I’ve had listening to an audiobook in a while. I lost track of the amount of times I laughed out loud. I would put this book in the “romance and” genre because it tackled important topics like racism, sexism, exploitation, trauma, etc. There were a lot of characters and I struggled a bit to keep up at the beginning, but I caught up eventually. The main characters felt so real. Loved the nostalgia of college days and silly drama and finding your place in the world.
