Charity is a fairy godmother. Not the poofy dress/sparkly wand type but rather a teenaged cheerleader socialite who makes dreams happen for her “Cindys” a.k.a. Cinderellas. However when one of the wishes she orchestrated goes down in flames, it forces Charity to reconsider all of her life’s work so far. Can she actually get everyone a real HEA, even herself?

At one point, I was going to toss this book across the room if I had to Google one more teeny-bopper Disney heartthrob namedrop, HOWEVER, this book ended up surprising me. I loved Charity’s willingness to reevaluate her misconceptions and I loved how Noah’s geeky family was so unapologetic in their nerdiness. Super cute opposites-attract high school romance with a supernatural twist.

Other similar recommendations are THE GHOST AND THE GOTH by Stacey Kade or REBEL BELLE by Rachel Hawkins.

This book was ADORABLE! Charity is such a fun heroine, and believe me she is most certainly the heroine of her story! Charity is a fairy godmother and she glimpses people's happily ever after, then tries to help them get there. Her journey is such fun, learning that she is not just a side character who never gets her own HEA. I loved it!

Just seemed too childish and had no motivation to finish it because the ending seemed very predictable
lighthearted medium-paced

This book was so much fun to read! I loved the characters, the character arcs, the storyline, all of it! I laughed and teared up because this book wholly captivated me while I was reading it.

I took a half star off my rating because of the moderate swearing, but I appreciated that the romance was clean. I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author!

I've been reading a lot of meh books lately and then OH MY GOD THIS BOOK JUST BROUGHT ME BACK TO LIFE!!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!! I THINK I FELL INLOVE SOMEWHERE HERE!!! I will be posting a full review and mood board on my blog, as I read this for a book tour.
And, my feelings are once again conflicted.

This book was cute, I'll give it that. I'll go more in-depth into the issues that I had with it in my review, but for now just know that it has a cute romance, and a coming of age story.

4.5 stars. This was adorable and I loved it. It’s been a while since I read a contemporary in a high school setting but this was perfectly full of drama. The fairytale aspect was nice and I enjoyed the all the sci-fi references. There were also messages about loving yourself and prince charmings not being necessary incorporated throughout. And of course, the relationship between Noah and Charity was incredibly sweet. Overall, highly recommend.

- The MC was fine in the first half of the book, but she got more and more annoying closer to the end. So far with denial that she doesn’t see WHATS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. The book would have gotten a 4 ✨ if it weren’t for her...

- I really liked the plot of having the MC realise that she’s not actually been helping people get their «happily ever after». And then having to fix it and try to redefin what she believes her power to be.

- Noah is my love ❤️ So sweet and geeky. I reeeaally didn’t like him in the beginning. But he did a 180. Loved his humor and the romance aspect.

Bibbidi boppidi okay

I wanted to love this and I’ll admit towards the end I was fully invested in Charity and Noah getting their happily ever after. (Is that supposed to be capitalized?) however, the beginning of this book dragged for me and I didn’t care for Charity until she started to be more human later in the book. I also didn’t care for her superficial view on life in the beginning. I did almost tear up in the end so that saved it from a lower ranking. I think this story had a great idea but it just wasn’t for me.
