Less mystery/suspense and more just a romance. I feel like I might have enjoyed it more if it hadn't been sold as a mystery. Left me disappointed.

Couldn’t stand the silly girl thing and was super obvious who the stalker was like 30 percent in

I Loved This Book!

I’ll admit that I had a suspicion about the stalker early on, but still, the way the story unfolded kept me engaged the whole time. And the opening chapter, the way Gwen finally figures out that her personal assistant is into her was something I had not expected but certainly added spice to the story.

And Zoe’s crush evolving into a protective love for Gwen felt natural under the circumstances.

I give this book 4.5 stars, as it entertained me throughout. And the confrontation with the stalker was scary, so much so that in the aftermath, the trauma of the MC’s felt natural and real to me too.

P.S. Gwen’s boss, to whom Zoe ultimately answers to also, is a jerk.

2.5 stars, but I rounded up. As long as I finish a book, I'll give it at least 2 stars.

It was interesting enough for me to read to the end, but not completely, as I ended up skipping paragraphs. I absolutely love a raunchy romp in my books, but it was just a little too much in this one; the scenes were too long and frequent. I would have preferred a little more development between the two main characters and some background on how the stalking began.

The storyline and antagonist were very obvious; I identified the antagonist immediately. I'm sure some might really enjoy this one, but my pet peeve of main characters being clueless and idiotic was in full force. Zoe was so absolutely clueless and listened to arguments that didn't even make sense. I kept shaking my head in annoyance during those parts.

Overall, it was okay, but not my cup of tea.

Fifty shades, take away a red room but add in lesbians. I didn’t think I’d like this book as much as I did because of how predictable but was but that actually didn’t take away from the book as a whole! The character development was great and o felt like it moved at a great pace.

Another installment of "I need some quick mindless smut" that was actually good?? I was surprised with how quickly it went to the sexual tension between Zoe and Gwen. This has to take the cake for best smut in a book with my very narrow selection pool. The tension and attraction was written really well, which solidified the romance. When it came to the stalker plot, the effects of it were driving the mystery rather than the identity of the stalker.
Zoe's inability to connect the dots on her supposed best friend was annoying though.
