veintiún poemas de un poeta triste que sabía hacer bonitas comparaciones de los sentimientos de amor con la naturaleza, pero que a mi personalmente no me transmitieron nada; y que se cree con el derecho de posesión de lo amado.

He’s pretty damn good like i feel like a lot of his metaphors are more atmospheric than anything and the whole point is adulation anyway so I don’t have to think too much about whether i “get” it and instead I can just let the feeling sort of well up within me. Reminds me of winterson in that sense. I feel like if I were reading Sidney as some sort of noble living during the Renaissance era, I would feel the same way I do now.

Speaking of Sidney, who I know mostly for being a Nice Guy, Neruda was a rapist. Well, as the kids say, werk. Now that doesn’t make his poem about liking women when they’re “still” disturbing, does it? Well, it very much does. Anyways.

I feel like I can appreciate the work itself on an aesthetic level but also I would not recommend it simply due to moral reasons but I suppose I *am* reviewing it but issok since no one cares too much about my opinions I hope .

Enjoyed reading some of these in Bob Dylan’s voice

Hm. En tiiä oliko vaan surkeesti käännetty, mut tökki tosi paljon ja oli vähän mitäänsanomaton.

Beautiful poetry. Beautiful language. Just beautiful, period.

Muy bonito, sobre todo la canción desesperada.

"Todo en ti fue naufragio."

Realmente si me gustara no seu día, pero el foi un tremendo papahostias e paso.
