Maravilloso. Se disfruta más en el silencio. No hay mejor música para acompañar la poesía en éstas páginas, que la lectura en voz alta de cada verso, aunque sea mentalmente.
fast-paced

At some point in time I may have to read these poems again, with a different English translation. I realize the translation can make a ton of difference (and sadly I can’t speak Spanish). However, the versions I read all lacked emotion... like they were about admiring an object not loving a person.

I really liked 'Tonight I can write'. The other were a bit to much for me.

The only thing i've read in Spanish is Gabriel Garcia Marquez, so this was quite out of the ordinary for me. I think it's better-consumed one poem at a time, instead of reading all 20 poems at once. Tonight I Can Write The Saddest Lines is the only one I remember now.

really not my thing. I’m disappointed because I was so excited and I had heard such good things. poetry is always hit or miss for me; this was a real miss. I will say this could be due to the specific edition I read, I have a feeling the translations might not have been the best. at least it was very small and I was able to read it in one go.

oh I absolutely loved it and I don't usually like poetry
