Listen...this book started out really promising. Dark romance? Heck yeah. Smut? Give it to me! But at about 90%, all I could think is, "why is this book so GD long?" The unnecessary spicy scenes. The chapters of just info dumping. The cringey descriptions. I just can't do it anymore. You could take at least 3 of the unnecessar  spicy scenes out, and I swear this book would be 200 pages shorter. And much easier to get through.

Very last time I'm taking romance book recs from a certain app. Horrible writing, annoying manic pixie "rocker chick" MC, the "vipers" in question were cringe, worst of all this BS is pushing 700 pgs.

This should really be classified as a mostly erotic book. 😅 There was barely any plot to this book. It made it really hard to finish this book. 🥴 I really don’t understand why this book gets so much hyped. It’s really not worth it (IMO.)

This book was definitely not what I expected. It was a lot happening within the span of like a week. I didn’t realize this until over half way through the book. I thought this was a few months maybe, but no this was like a week. maybe two. I liked it other than that, a lot of romance and different things like that. Some of the kinky stuff I’m not really a fan of reading about, but it was a wide variety of that. I think there’s a bit of everything in this book for romance readers all around.

this was a long ass book. 

ok, pro/con list:

• pro, great relationship development that took priority in order to build the plot 
• con, written in the style of a 2016 wattpad story
• con, cringy as FUCK dialogue that i was constantly wincing at
• con, repetitive wording and phrases, basically 600 pages of the same 20 phrases 
• pro, diesel and garret
• con, not enough kenzo
• pro, the kinks were *mwah* chef’s kiss
• con, inconsistent descriptions of characters/settings
• con, kenzo’s first time with roxy ????? wtaf was that. it had AWFUL justification. 
• con,
  garret proposing with the same ring he gave to daphne. seriosuly what the fuck
• pro, roxy never lost her fight/spunk through the story like a lot of female MCs do

honestly my thoughts are too scrambled for this book

I should have read the description before reading this, and I should have DEFINITELY read content warnings. This book is terrible, the only thing I like about it is the storyline away from the reverse harem dumpster fire

This is def a book for a VERY specific kind of reader but I actually found myself enjoying most of it. The characters aren’t amazing but they aren’t completely terrible and the plot was mostly okay once you get over the selling-your-child aspect (not a spoiler-it’s on the back of the book)
