I thought the writing style was decent, but found the book to lack plot. If you just want spicy, this book will compensate for that. I enjoyed it when some plot came through. Overall, towards the end I was skipping over pages just to find plot and not read the 100th sex scene.

i don’t understand why this book is so popular on platforms like goodreads and tiktok. most of the sex was questionable at best (there were only maybe 2 moments out of many that were satisfying by any means of the word). it seemed like the author really just wanted to cram as many sex tropes and kinks into a single book as possible (surprise: that doesn’t make them good). also maybe this is just a personal preference thing but i was really disappointed there wasn’t a true threesome- like that would’ve been tame compared to, for example, the things they used as sex toys. the characters had very little growth and all were what i would definitely call mary sues. this book is also so arduously long for absolutely no reason. there’s a lot of sex but little to no plot. and even with what little plot there is, you aren’t invested because you literally know nothing about it so you just don’t care.

This was a dark, sexy and very entertaining read, I loved the heroine and all four heros, buuuut the action scene sometimes seemed a little bit cartoonish and that took me out of the story.
