Dude, this book Is just ridiculous. Like, I get why people were traumatized and why it’s problematic AND it’s just over-the-fucking-top smh. The hyperbole! The smut! The ending that was drawn out over 100+ unnecessary pages.

But ya know, w/e, I don’t read dark romances for the class I read them to be entertained and I would say this was very entertaining. If only bc it was outright ridiculous

my goodreads friends love this book and i was so sure i would too.

this was the most unrealistic dark romance ever. i only liked the craziness and kinks of diesel. roxy is the worst fmc i've ever read. she has 5 or 6 lines at most, the only trait she has that she knows some useful people from her past.

i like the most gory, kinky, full of trigger pitch black romances so nothing in this book made me uncomfortable, it just lacked emotional realism so fucking bad. there was no way i could finish 500+ pages of this. repetitive and no plot.

Was told it was a biker romance. It is not more mafiaish than bikerish so that killed the vibe

Probably team Garrett, followed by the others

Roxy is a fierce and strong FMC. She holds her own and blossoms into her strengths throughout this book.

Ryder, Kenzo, Garrett, and Diesel all bring something different to the story. Ryder's control, Kenzo's affection, Garrett's pain, and Diesel's craziness. All of them are necessary to the story.

I think Garrett had the biggest impact on me, followed very closely by the others.

This was an interesting and enjoyable read. I am keen to try other books by this author.

Read on Kindle and read along on Audible. The narration really helped bring the FMC and MMCs to life and gave me a real insight into their personalities.

This book could have been great but it was just okay. The romances were extremely rushed, the plot was good but overshadowed by all the smut. I was not convinced our characters were ever truly in danger, we were being told the stakes were high but I didn’t feel it through the writing. I was not a fan of all the foreign objects in body parts or the bloody smut scenes, which I ended up skimming over by the end. It was entertaining at points but quite cringe and hard to get through, 2.5 stars overall.

Damn near DNFed for the use of "va-jay-jay" and cheesy writing and dialogue. But the smut scenes were just unending and intriguing. Also couldn't help but picture Diesel as Hulk Hogan with a sparkly fanny pack.
