This book won awards but for me it would not even be close. The characters were unlikeable and dull and the story line was unremittingly awful in that it simply did not drag me in.

Dark and haunting. Incredibly well-written and difficult to put down. Makes me want to read more of Morris’ work! Recommend to anyone who enjoys reading the darker side of humanity with characters teetering on the brink of insanity, living in society’s fringe.
