took two weeks to read the first half of the book and two hours to finish it.. goddamn that was great. brb gonna get wentworth’s letter tattooed on me

I was so determined to read it when my moot say "sayangnya frederick pura² gak kenal setelah ketemu anne lagi." Sebagai pecinta romance angst,GUE GAS LAH.

Tapi ternyata, momen mereka DIKIT YA. MANA KEBANYAKAN NARASI.

Krn jadul, gue kadang gak paham. Tapi sekalinya paham, gue takjub krn penulisannya puitis. Like WDYM 'BANJIR EMOSI' BUAT GAMBARIN RASA OVERWHELMING
slow-paced

This is the second Jane Austen novel I've read (the first was Pride and Prejudice), and I think her style of writing is not for me. Austen's plots often revolve around distinguished English people who have to deal with people in lower classes.

nothing can ever make me interested in reading jane austen after this book.. bro what was the point? a slowburn romance to have everything wrapped up in 2/3 pages… naur

I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The last book of Austen's I read was Mansfield Park, which I felt was quite slow at various points. But Persuasion didn't have that. I loved Anne, her intellect and character. Captain Wentworth's letter to Anne has my heart!!
