I didn’t like the book much- it doesn’t hold a candle to P&P, S&S or Emma in terms of plot or character development. There is a lot of filler, with chapters that don’t add much to the story. I understand Persuasion was oublished posthumously, making me wonder if she didn’t care for herself or if she was starting to become a hack …
