Anne is persuaded by her family and friends to abandon the man she loves in search for a more suitable match, what follows is what occurs throughout this novel. I adore Anne and find most of the characters to be fun, charismatic and rich in personality and will. I really enjoyed Persuasion and love the profound thoughts given by Anne (as well as Frederick’s letter which, wow)

Ohhhh, I love Anne! I am finding myself more attached to her than many of Austen's other heroines after finally reading the book. She is so refreshing, and really emulates the best balance of empathetically trusting one's self with practicing personal accountability. Willing to listen sincerely to others but unafraid to stand by her logic and sentiments. Self-sacrificing without being pitiful. A fantastic judge of character. And incredibly long-suffering with that father of hers (I would simply strangle him.)
Her final speech to Harville is just so, so well put and articulates some, what I would call, very adept observations about the love men and women are capable of. It's so romantic and so grounded at the same time, which is the sweet spot we would all be so lucky to live in!
And Wentworth? Only he could be deserving of her as her equal in goodness and rationality. He's just a GOOD MAN. His letter? My goodness. I swear, Austen mastered the love confession. No one does it better.
