They kept up the momentum of the first volume which is great because I was worried they wouldn't keep up that level of interest/ intensity while simultaneously not rushing through the story. The art is really beautiful too. Not too scary but enough to add the fear element.

I don't think I'm going to continue with the series. I find the story just okay and the layout of the panels is frustrating and annoying and lead to me often having to read the pages multiple times to figure out which order it's meant to be in.

I liked it as much as the first one, it was a quick, enjoyable read. 

I found Aaron dying immediately after he charged at the monsters extremely funny, it was hard not to laugh out loud.

As with the first volume, this was... fine? I found the panels very hard to follow. Difficult to tell whether there was a two-page spread, or just single pages. I continue to find the plot and setting uninspiring. It's not bad. I just feel like this was someone's Monster Hearts game or something.
