This was an interesting book. Great twists and turns. the timeline is backwards.
the story was good but the main characters is the most unlikable main character i've ever read. She just annoyed me. The end has an interesting twist.

This book did not grab me right away, but short while in I was completely hooked and realized I didn't want to put it down. As soon as it jumped ahead and then started moving backwards, I knew that I could not stop until I knew everything. This was a very interesting and successful plot device and left me intrigued and infuriated that I was missing pieces the whole time. Also, the unreliable main character added a lot to the suspense and confusion, while giving a desperate feel to the whole novel. The writing was good and the mystery was well pieced together to just give you snippets of information at a time, but in a way you probably would never figure out on your own. Though I did guess a few things, I was completely wrong about how things happened and who/what/why were involved. A rather spooky story with an ending that left me miffed but also understanding of the MC's decisions.

This felt very YA. Very Pretty Little Liars. But I'm giving it 4 stars for the twists and turns.

This book gave more depth to its characters than I feel a lot of mystery thrillers do, which made the story much more compelling to be invested in. I admire her choice to tell the story backwards (day 15 counting down each day until the 1st), but it was a bit confusing at times. I kinda wanna re-read it but read the chapters backwards so it counts upward and see if it makes more sense that way

If I didn't keep reading past the 25% mark, this would probably have a lower score.
