Please can I have a Caden?

Omg, heart breaking in a good way. This book gives me the warm and fuzzy feeling. I LOVE Caden he's every girls wet dream. Not heavy on the sex in the book which I loved, nothing better than a good old cuddle, Netflix and chill PG13.

Enjoyed this book but I am not sure about the ending

I could not put this book down! Caden Banks is not your usual sexy college cliche. He doesn’t get caught up in any drama and doesn’t deal with bull shit. Summer Stoltz is cute and wacky and a total sweetheart.

This book is a very slow burn, but it is totally worth the wait.

I actually really loved this book. I'm learning fast that I'm loving all the books [a:Tijan|4851199|Tijan|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/authors/1454602388p2/4851199.jpg] writes. I should read the other when i have the chance.

So. Summer is finally at university. Her plan is to move in with her step-brother, and hopefully let their relationship bloom into something more. That is until she sees him with someone else.
Enter Caden *fans self*. I really liked Caden. Pretty cool guy. Anyways, Caden and Summer form an unlikely bond when fate starts throwing them together. Eventually the give in and become friends. then maybe, something more.

I really loved the friendship that grew - it took most of the book for Summer and Caden to become anything more than friends, which was find by me since it was so well done. The friendship grew quite naturally, their trust and honesty in one another was awe-inspiring as well.

I loved that these two characters were there for each other, even fairly on in their relationship, they had each others backs.

It did remind me a little of [b:Fallen Crest High|31204652|Fallen Crest High|Tijan|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1469305157s/31204652.jpg|21961950] and the like.

My Thoughts

Anti-Stepbrother is the ultimate guilty pleasure book in my opinion. Whew, it is drama, drama, drama with lust and steam and sexy times. So Goooood!! I seriously need to get my hands on more of Tijan’s books, especially if they are all this good!

The story centers around Summer, Caden, and idiot Kevin. But you know all that, it’s in the summary! (Okay, maybe not the part about idiot Kevin but it doesn’t take long to figure that one out) I just want you to know that it IS so good! The pacing is perfect, the drama just right, the sexual tension…delicious. And it actually has a plot! There was a hidden depth that I wasn’t expecting, which made it all that much better. All of your needs are equally met with Anti-Stepbrother. I swear!

I recommend this if you need some steam in your life, a little drama, and maybe one or two life lessons. Trust me, you’ll be searching out other books by Tijan once you finish!

I liked this book, at least it made me want to read it until the end which nowadays is a great sign.

I think the first 2 thirds of the book have great potential but the story just ends up losing itself from there. Also I think the characters did not have the clousure they deserved. The ending felt very abrupt. We never knew what happened to Colton or Caden's parents. Also I think Marcus (?) story has great potential if they intend to grow the caracter.

Going in I just knew how this book was going to turn out and I was so happy to be wrong!

Summer has had a crush on her stepbrother, Kevin for two years. Summer follows Kevin to the same college in hopes that they will get together. That doesn't quite work out in her favor which is a good thing!

“I want more than that. I want it all. You. Your laugh.” He pressed a kiss to the side of my mouth. “Your random idiocy that I find hilarious.” A kiss to the other side. “Your kindness.”

Summer and Caden, I loved these two separately and as a couple! Their friendship, their banter and them just being them gave me all the feels. Caden was closed off and broody. Summer was quirky and funny. I really liked Summer's character and I could relate to her on a personal level. I really loved how their relationship took time and it was a slow burn. They started out as friends and things progressed from there. When they finally do get together you feel their passion and it was just everything I love!

Summer and Caden are both dealing with family issues. Caden is the protector of his brothers and has a big burden to carry. No one should have to carry all this weight and especially alone. Summer has never processed and coped with her mothers death. Together they find a way to heal. Seeing them be there for each other was just everything. They opened up and discussed and discovered things about themselves they didn't want to but they need to find. This is what being in a relationship is all about. Accepting your partner faults and all and still loving them. This story truly sucked me in and I loved every minute of this book. Well done Tijan!
