yes yes yes

No words can describe how I feel about this book. Caden is swoon worthy. Summer is amazing she represents a lot a women with her quirks and intrigue. I really like Avery though she was my favorite.
lighthearted fast-paced

And she's back!!!! Tijan, this was awesome! I ate up every page in less than a day and when I turned to the last page I was disappointed that it was done. I'll need another one of your fixes soon.

Managed almost in one sitting, just finished it off in my lunch break. I can always rely on Tijan to hook me from the start. It contributed to me not sleeping for the whole night, but it was soo worth it, i loved it.

Enjoyable with a few problems that can be easily overlooked.

This was amazing! I have a lady boner for Summer ♥

Yes i will write something about this before the year is out!

Group Read for December 2017 with Fallen Into Tijan Books

I really love Tijan's books. There were parts of this that I was confused by - Summer's breakdown felt kind of sudden for example - but overall it was a good book. I appreciate Tijan tackling issues that not many authors discuss.

As with all Tijan books, I went into this one not knowing what was in store for me. From the first page, I was hooked. You know those dickhead step-brothers? This book has Kevin. You know those swoon-worthy heroes? This book has Caden (I'm claiming Caden, btw.) You know those funny and quirky heroines? This book has Summer. You know that intense attraction and sexual tension between the hero and heroine? SIZZLE. I loved the depth of the storyline--how many realistic issues each character has.

Anti-Stepbrother is real. It's gritty. It's raw and intense. It's pushing boundaries and facing fears and insecurities. It's learning and growth. It's friendship, family, and love.

Tijan did it again! I was up until the early hours of the morning reading Anti-Stepbrother and I'm going to read it again to hang out with Caden and Summer. They're two of my favorite characters ever!

You're gonna wanna read this book ASAP. Trust me.

Enjoyable story but it lacked the spice I was looking for.
Worth a read but not my favourite

Reread 2021:
For me, this one stands out from most of the other Tijan books. Summer seriously cracked me up. Especially this part:

“If he moves out, that means they’re breaking up.”
“Exactly.” His eyes hardened. “Don’t tell me I’m wrong and you’re hoping to be the next girl. You just looked like a starving squirrel who saw its first nut.”
I scowled. “What? No, I’m not.”
He sighed in disgust. “He’s not going to marry you.”
“I don’t want marriage. I don’t want anything. I’m over him.”
“Well, something’s going on with you.” He groaned. “Don’t date him. He’s a six-month guy. He dates a girl—”
“I know.”
My hands were wrapped so tightly around each other, a paperclip couldn’t have gotten in between them. He was right. God, he was right. “I don’t have feelings for Kevin.”
My chest burned. I felt that void opening even more.
“Right.” His tone softened. “That’s why you look like you’re going to cry.”
“I’m crying for the squirrel.”
“Summer.”
“It must’ve been so hungry.”

And Caden. O-M-G Caden is just so hot! Loved it!
