“Frica își are rădăcinile în trecut”

Found this in a charity shop and bought it mainly based on the cover. Really liked the story, all of the travelling and different people kept me going. I liked less the parts where we get into why it's called Hippie and when you hear a bit more of the philosophy behind the book. Would recommend for anyone considering a gap yah.

It was a nice story, but i hoped it was going to be more eventful. The end is not really satisfying, though i know it doesn't need to be; it's a timeline of his earlier life. Still, a bit disappointed. Some inspiring parts tho.

lost my copy

Any book by Paulo Coelho never fails to touch my soul, with a quote or insightful lines of wisdom or simply, the way he explores religion. While he certainly isnt an author that I can binge read, I can honestly state that his stories, no matter how simple will never disappoint in that way.

'Hippie', his latest book follows the journey of Paulo, a young, skinny, Brazilian with a goatee who learns about himself while exploring the world.

It took me a while to read this book (at least a month). Although some parts were nice such as his exploration of Sufism, and him being in Amsterdam, I found the story, naturally an autobiographical journey of his life incomplete.

If you're a Coelho fan and simply have to pick up everything he writes, then this book is for you. Its certainly not lifechanging so in any case, youre better off skipping it!
