The advice is good but you should probably leave this book at the bookstore. Unless you have a lot of beginner financial questions, I would recommend only perusing it at the bookstore when the need strikes.

Quick and super useful. I feel much better already now that I have a good idea of how to prioritize the various steps I need to take to improve my finances.

A great, easy-to-read guide to dealing with money as a young person. She gives straightforward, frank answers. Not all new stuff, but she promises to not make giving up lattes the way to help you not go broke...Sounds good to me!

Oh my gosh do I love Suze. I consider myself an YF and B'er and this book gives some great really basic advice for those of us with money troubles.

I think these books are great for young professionals and I learned how to avoid credit card debt and increase my FICO score all in one day.

A good chunk of this was common sense or something you could easily find on blogs, but I thought it was interesting to see her viewpoints on basic financial topics.

Awesomely informative introduction to the world of finance.

Not as helpful as The Total Money Makeover. She gives you some tips, but it's changing your philosophy, habits, and lifestyle that really makes a difference.

Some concepts (like going over FICO scores) were definitely below my level of knowledge, but much of the book is packed with valuable information about personal finance that's spelled out in an easy to understand manner. Should be required reading for all the YF&Bers out there.

LOVED this book! Excellent introduction to personal finances for those of us who didn't know anything about investing, saving for retirement, wills/trusts, etc.

While I don't consider myself "broke", a lot of this information was seriously helpful in understanding the big picture of finances. It's like a road map for setting up the goals that I should have in mind as my life and career develop and mature.
