This was more of a collection of the adventures of Robin Hood (which in my opinion was the way it should be done). I love all the poems written in the past that were featured at the beginning of each chapter. The band of merry men were fun to learn about and become kind of attached to- loved Friar Tuck, Little John, Much, Will Scarlet, and of course Maid Marian (who is WAY cooler then some movies make her out to be). She's a much stronger character then Hollywood would sometimes make her out to be. (Think almost as cool as the Maid Marian on BBC's Robin Hood Series if you've seen it). Overall- easy, fun read- wish it were longer and the ending weren't so anti-climatic.

It was kind of boring and didn’t really make sense.

I really liked that this story is so much bigger then I ever knew. Robin Hood has forty or fifty men in the beginning and the story spans ten years of his life. He also has a lot more men then just the usual gang of merry men that could've been in more adaptations.

I really didn't like the ending though. I feel like the last chapter took a very hard turn from the comedic adventures that were happening during the rest of the book. It was like the ending was an entire different genre.

I think anyone who grew up loving Robin Hood movies should really read this.
