This was a cutesy, light-hearted read, but it wasn’t nearly as memorable as some of the other graphic novels I’ve read this year. The story is basically about a young lesbian girl who is shitty to her friends while obsessing over her fuckboi white lesbian girlfriend who is largely absent, non-communicative, and rude to her friends. It is a LGBTQ affirming story with QTPOC characters (who do unfortunately fall into the Black best friend tropes), but I found it more suited for teens trying to figure out their dating standards than more adult readers.
