After one broke up like that I will be done, but I understand the point that for teenagers, first love and keeping back its normal. Thank God she finally open eyes. But I don't get it why in this kind of books, the main character true love has to be her best friend... lol...

The illustrations were beautiful and truly what enhanced the book because the plot alone in some parts wasn’t that strong.
I would have bumped up my rating, but the book could’ve been fleshed out more. Topics about abortion and grooming weren’t discussed in full but needed to be. Those are very serious topics and when you write a book that’s marketed to teens, the topic should’ve been approached with more care, education, and consideration, in my opinion. Instead, it was dealt with more casualness then it deserved.

Angsty, sapphic teens in a toxic relationship, reminds me so much of my precious relationship. Loved the characters, good character arc of freddy. book seemed to end early maybe cus i read it in a day,
