Would have been better but for twist in the end.

This story was so funny! I never would have picked this up except for the Literary Life doing it on the podcast. The House of Human Letters read-along was also a lot of fun and I highly recommend that.

I had to read this as a part of my college World Literature class. I do think this is a perfect representation of the age of enlightenment in this age. I think the topic of religion versus science or religion versus reason is always an interesting one. It does not attack religion, it only shows the corruption of the religious people of that time when the church was the law.
