Another BBC full-cast dramatisation but this one was very weak compared to the somewhat-newer ones. This Poirot was not John Moffatt or David Suchet, and came across as quite generic. Dragged on. I blame the adaptation.

“You tell your lies and you think nobody knows. But there are two people who know. Yes-two people. One is le bon Dieu- and the other is Hercule Poirot.”

I actually mostly put this one together!!

After an odd last book, Christie got right back to it with this one. Great, classic Poirot and a fascinating time as always with these one of a kind mysteries.
