Gets a little wordy at points, but definitely provides some valuable information if you look for it in the wordiness. Worth the read.

The author's view and treatment of sexuality seems rather limited to the scope of his clinical practice: addressing "dysfunction". If you are not reading this book to address a discomfort with your sexuality, you probably will not gain much from it. As a whole, the book is also surprisingly heteronormative.

Every adult with relational or sexual interest should read this book. It’s not about sexy tips and tricks. It’s about knowing yourself, which is predicated upon meeting yourself where you are and building sex around that. This book is accessible, helpful, and I think will make your life easier rather than harder.

This book addresses hetero sexuality. In my opinion I found this book to cover the simplest issues of mis/non communication between men and women in regards to their sexual needs and desires. This book is not deep or profound and offers no information for anyone outside of a straight, married, vanilla, sexual relationship.

Basic stuff, basically reject your preconceptions and insecurities but an important book on sex-positivity. Was a great reminder to let go of my hangups and just be human. Sex is fun, make that the point of it.
