Such a relaxing and fun book!  I read the first recently as a nostalgic audiobook for a bedtime story and loved the characters and writing, and of course early 2000s vibes.  This one I enjoyed even more.  I felt like the characters and situations had more depth and stakes.

This book is about four girls who have been together since birth and they are all friends. They find a pair of jeans that fit each one of the girls perfectly. Now its the second summer of them using the pants and its been labeled the love pants for this summer because each of them find love in all kinds of ways. I really enjoyed this book its a great read![bc:The Second Summer of the Sisterhood|5454|The Second Summer of the Sisterhood (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, #2)|Ann Brashares|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1320551571s/5454.jpg|841331]

Den här boken var inte alls så bra som den förra, jag tyckte faktiskt den var ganska tråkig. Jag ville ha en uppföljare på alla tjejernas somrar men fick bara på Lenas.

This was really boring and sometimes infuriating and most of the girls stories I don't give two shits about. But I do really enjoy B. She's my favorite and so far the least annoying.
Oh and the romance in this made me gag. I really wasn't gonna continue even though I own all of them but I'm just gonna get them on audio from the library, otherwise I'd never finish this series. I'm still not sure I will. But I do really like B's storyline. Idk. We'll see I guess.

More teen angst in this good Young Adult novel. A nice diversion for me.

I don't classify this book as a favorite but I liked it well enough. I could easily relate to it as much as I did in the first book but in comparison, the twists and turns felt like it was more sad than exciting or thrilling.

1) Bee visited her grandmother in Alabama and learned about her mother from when she was in high school to the point of her suicidal death.
2) Tibby was trying to cope from her traumatic experience in the first book and eventually started to heal herself.
3) Lena learned how painful long distance relationships can be and the consequences of the mistakes we make that involve our loved ones.
4) Carmen, being an only child of divorced parents, accepted that her parents had a need to find love again.

These are the kind of experiences people can relate to whether they're a high school teenager or a parent with a teenager of their own. Like I said, I enjoyed the book but not the way I expected I was going to after reading the first book.
